Breaking Dawn Advent Retreat

Breaking Dawn: Ignatian Spirituality Meets Internal Family Systems in an Advent Experience, invites participants into a transformative journey of prayer and self-discovery. Drawing on Ignatian contemplation, imaginative prayer, and the engagement of the senses, this retreat offers a unique opportunity to enter into intimate conversation with God.

Throughout the retreat, we will harness the power of imagination and conversation to immerse ourselves in the rich, Advent-themed scenes of Scripture. By placing ourselves within these sacred stories, we deepen our connection to the mystery of Emmanuel--God with us--unfolding in our lives. At the heart of this experience lies the integration of Ignatian Spirituality and Internal Family Systems, guiding us to explore our inner world with spaciousness, courage, and grace. Our emotions and feelings--whether sadness, joy, anxiety, or happiness--become pathways to encounter God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Ignatian prayer offers a familiar and profound way to express and share these inner experiences, fostering a personal, heartfelt dialogue with the Divine.
