Tending to One's Grieving Heart - listening for healing words

How do we heal from loss? We grieve. Our bodies, minds and hearts are created to process loss of all kinds through a sacred journey of grieving. A significant resource on that journey is writing ... putting pen to paper opens our heart in new ways and supports our desire to heal. This two-night retreat will offer a safe space for reflection, writing, sharing and stillness. Together, we give voice to loss and time for grief, together we take brave steps toward hope and healing. No writing experience is necessary.

When: Friday March 7th (arrive 3-4:30 PM) thru Sunday March 9th (leave after lunch)

Facilitator: Lisa Irish, MEd, MA, BCC

Cost: $275

Lisa joins the human race through a life-long quest for healing from early losses, trauma, and disenfranchised losses. She is a conscious griever in these times of shared losses in our human experience. Her professional life includes teaching and teacher education, hospital and bereavement chaplaincy, spiritual direction and supervision, author and retreat leader. Of her book, available for sale, Rich Rohr says, "The roadmap is wise, but sensitive - grounded in hope - and reminds us to rest in God's healing love."
