Maureen Casey is a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur. She has been involved in education, parish ministry, retreat ministry, and spiritual direction. She co-directs the Spiritual Direction Internship Initiative. Her particular interests include scripture, the mystics, and the new cosmology and how they relate to God's passion for our ever-evolving universe.
Hildegard of Bingen and the God who Causes the Grasses to Laugh
Come and gift God and yourself with a day to explore the life and spirituality of Hildegard of Bingen, a 12th century mystic, reformer, prophetess, musician, and visionary. She was a woman who listened deeply to the heart of God. Her reverence and passion for God's dream for the universe can be a source of hope for us today as we continue to be the flame that ignites God's desires in our world.
When: Sunday May 2nd, 2026-arrive between 9 to 9:30 AM for coffee plus. Program runs from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM and includes lunch.
